DPC Services - Machining

DPC has expanded a number of times since it was established in 1965 and now comprises a 13000 sq ft modern production facility with associated offices on a single site in Shaw, Oldham.

The production facility comprises of predominately CNC turning and milling machines with a compliment of inspection and finishing machines to provide a complete in-house service.

Multi Axis Turning Centres
Citizen M32-III, 13 axis Sliding Head Lathe ...32mm dia bar capacity.
Citizen A32-VII, 7 axis Sliding Head Lathe ...32mm dia bar capacity.
Citizen L20, 9 axis Sliding Head Lathes, 3 machines ...20mm dia bar capacity.
Citizen B12, 5 axis Sliding Head Lathes 2 machines ...12mm dia bar capacity.
These machines are the most competitive option for quantities of 50 or more components up 32mm diameter and are capable of turning both ends of a component and drilling and milling in cycle.

CNC Lathes
Goodway GS280MSY ...2 machines, 77mm dia bar capacity, sub-spindle, live tooling, Y axis.
Biglia B131/S1 ...70mm dia bar capacity, chuck work up to 150mm dia.
Johnford TC35 ...70mm dia bar capacity.
Colchester Combi K2 ...54mm diameter max bar capacity, chuck work up to 150mm.dia.
Mazak QT8N ...40mm dia bar capacity.
Hardinge Cobra 42 ...42mm dia bar capacity.
Hardinge CHNC ...2 machines, 42mm dia bar capacity.
Hardinge GT Super Precision ...3 machines, 25.4mm dia bar capacity.
Enabling production of small quantity complex turned profiles through to high volume larger components.

Machining Centres
Kitamura Mycentre Twin Pallet, 2 machines ...300mm x 500mm pallets.
Victor V55 with full 4th Axis ...400mm x 400mm table.
YCM MV 106 AF with full 4th Axis ...1000mm x 600mm table.
With the two pallet systems and 4th axis our machines are both versatile and competitive, with no loading time on larger batches. Programming is via the latest solid modelling CAD/CAM software.

Inspection
We have a modern inspection facility with the latest equipment including CNC smartscope video measuring system, CMM and inspect at first-off, intermediate stages during production and final inspection. Systems are accredited to ISO9001:2000.

Other Facilities
Our range of CNC machines is complimented by a range of manual Lathes, Milling, Grinding, Finishing machines and Marking by Marktronic Markmate & Rofin Easymark Laser etch system.
